(11:43) POINT SUR- Highway 1 has been closed at the Point Sur Lighthouse. The closure was set to begin at 2 p.m. yesterday (Sunday), and is expected to last for up to 24 hours. The Highway will be closed to all traffic except fire operations to North Coast Ridge Road. The closure will be continually re-evaluated based on fire conditions, and the threat to firefighter and public safety.
