09:10) Salinas – A man is behind bars after leading Salinas Police on a car chase last night (Thursday). The car chase started on Del Monte and Pacific Avenue and ended with a car crash when 20-year old Jose Martinez ran into a parked ice cream truck at Merritt and Preston Street. After the vehicle made impact Martinez began to run and was seen throwing something into the bushes. Police caught him and found a loaded caliber revolver nearby.
