(18:44) UCSC – A U-C Santa Cruz professor, who was on a speaking tour in Taiwan has died. Bruce Bridgeman was walking across an intersection in Taiwan when he was hit by a bus. The 71 year-old, who is survived by his wife, 2 daughters, a brother, and various nieces nephews, and grandchildren….will be remembered by those who knew him as a person with a genuine sense of humor, and a keen intellect. A memorial event celebrating Professor Bridgeman’s life and career is scheduled to be held in October 2016.
