(18:50) SCOTTS VALLEY- Work crews will be performing emergency tree removal along a section of northbound Highway 17 today (Friday). Caltrans will be removing the trees on a one mile stretch of roadway from Vine Hill Road to Sugarloaf near Scotts Valley from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Roadwork will require closing the northbound No. 2 or right lane. Motorists can expect delays of up to 30 minutes. The CHP will be on site to assist with traffic control.
