(08:49) SANTA CRUZ – The California Arts Council has awarded a grant to a Santa Cruz nonprofit. The state agency has given Senderos $10,000 as part of its new Cultural Pathways program. The program aims to provide two years of support to organizations rooted in communities of color, recent immigrant and refugee communities, as well as tribal groups. Senderos plans to use the funds to share Mexican traditional cultural arts and provide educational opportunities. (S.G.)
