(10:31)LAGUNA SECA- The Superbike World Championship at Laguna Seca’s Mazda Raceway generated an estimated 12 million dollar boost to the local economy. A race official said that as of Friday advanced ticket sales were up by 28 percent and that over the weekend a rise of 33 percent in sales was observed at the gate. More than 50,000 spectators attended this year’s event.
