(07:24) SANTA CRUZ – A Watsonville man was arrested in Santa Cruz this week on suspicion of DUI and carrying a loaded firearm in a vehicle. Officials say 20-year-old Cristobal Ortiz was allegedly driving while intoxicated near Almar and Del Costa avenues late Monday night. He lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a Subaru. Officers arrived at the scene and found Ortiz in possession of a loaded handgun. A passenger in the Subaru was treated for minor injuries. Ortiz was booked into Santa Cruz County Jail. (S.G.)
