(08:06) MONTEREY COUNTY – Eight people were arrested on various charges during a multiagency operation in Monterey County on Friday. Law enforcement officers conducted probation and parole compliance checks in Greenfield, King City, Gonzales and Soledad in an effort to reduce gang activity and promote public safety. The operation resulted in two felony arrests and six misdemeanor arrests. (S.G.)
