(07:07) MONTEREY COUNTY – Monterey County authorities are looking for a man wanted out of Missouri on suspicion of domestic assault, robbery and failure to register as a sex offender. 38-year-old Jason Thomas Piel served time in Missouri for sexually assaulting a teenage girl and domestic violence. A warrant was issued this month after he failed to appear in court. This week, Piel and 36-year-old Yolanda Goodwin were seen driving a stolen vehicle on Highway 101 near Salinas. Piel pulled the car over at Heritage Garden Apartments and walked away, leaving Goodwin inside the car. Goodwin drove the vehicle away from the apartment complex and was pulled over shortly after. She was arrested on suspicion of vehicle theft and possession of stolen property. Piel is still at large. He is described as a white man, around 5-foot-10-inches tall, about 225 pounds and bald. He has a tattoo of a crown on his left eyebrow and the word “Raza” tattooed on the front of his neck. Anyone with information is to contact Monterey County authorities. (S.G.)
