(10:56) SANTA CRUZ – A man was arrested this week in connection with a recent shooting in Santa Cruz. Early Sunday morning, officers responded to reports of gunfire on the 200 block of Washburn Avenue. At the scene, police found a 20-year-old male suffering from a non-life-threatening injury. He was transported to a Bay Area trauma center for treatment. Following an investigation, police identified the shooting suspect as 29-year-old Anthony Jimenez of Watsonville. He was located and arrested in Scotts Valley on Tuesday, and booked into Santa Cruz County Jail for attempted murder. (S.G.)
