(08:06) SANTA CRUZ – The Santa Cruz Surfing Museum will celebrate its 30th Anniversary this weekend. Since opening in 1986, the museum has chronicled the history of surfing in Santa Cruz County with a number of exhibitions, including a display showing the evolution of surfboard design as well a photograph collection depicting generations of surfers. The anniversary celebration will kick off at 11 a.m. on Saturday at the museum on West Cliff Drive. The event is open to the public. (S.G.)
