(17:23)LIVE OAK- A Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s deputy has been recognized by the California Highway Patrol. Last week CHP officers presented Sergeant John Habermehl with the 10851 pin award. The award which has been given out by the CHP and AAA since 1979 for auto theft arrest and recories refers to the state code for care theft. Sergeant Habermehl received the 10851 award for revovering 27 stlen cars in the Live Oak are in a 12 month period.
