(08:43) MARINA – A Marina man, who had a previous domestic violence conviction as well as 3 robbery strikes against him, has been sentenced to spend 20 years behind bars. Most recently, Clyde Whitfield was found guilty of incompletely strangling his girlfriend several times (back in 2013). He also threatened to put her in the trunk of her car, drive it into a field and set the car on fire. His girlfriend suffered a perforated eardrum, as well as bruises to her arms, chest, and eye-area.
