(18:02) SCOTTS VALLEY – A woman who has more than 20 years of experience working in local government has been tapped to become Scotts Valley’s new city manager. 46 year-old Jenny Haruyama, who is currently the assistant city manager in Livermore, has family roots in Scotts Valley, so when the job was announced she was 1 of 30 who applied. Haruyama is expected to start her new job in Scotts Valley July 18th. The previous Scotts Valley city manager, Steve Ando, retired in December.
