(17:45) SCOTTS VALLEY – An 8.5 million dollar irrigation project broke ground today. The project is taking place at Pasatiempo Golf Club, and is designed to re-route Scotts Valley Water District treated wastewater to its fairways (after an on-site purification process). The new water supply agreement, was signed in March between Scotts Valley and Pasatiempo, will provide the Golf Club with about 60 to 70 percent of its annual needed irrigation water (for 30 years).
