(07:59) SANTA CRUZ COUNTY – Construction crews will begin working on a project on Highway 17 near Scotts Valley next week. Starting Monday, roadwork will be conducted along the highway in both directions between Sugarloaf Road and Laurel Road. Crews will be working overnight, between the hours of 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. Motorists can expect delays of up to 20 minutes. The project is expected to be completed by next winter. (S.G.)
