(07:14) SANTA CRUZ COUNTY – Three men were arrested near Watsonville this week on gun, drug, and gang charges. Deputies were patrolling on the 100 block of Cutter Drive on Monday when they stopped a car with a broken front windshield. The vehicle’s three occupants, Benjarmen Sanchez, Brian Baires, and Jose Quijada, all 18, were found to be on probation. A search of the car recovered two loaded guns, methamphetamine, and gang indicia. All three suspects were booked into Santa Cruz County Jail. Two of the men remain in custody. Quijada has since posted bail. (S.G.)
