(06:59) CARMEL VALLEY – CHP officers have identified the victim of a fatal crash that occurred in Carmel Valley over the weekend. On Sunday morning, Huezo Obed Orellana of Marina was travelling at high speeds near Carmel Valley and Scarlett roads when he lost control of his vehicle. The car went off the roadway, down an embankment, and struck a shed before crashing into a tree. Orellana was pronounced dead at the scene. The cause of the crash is under investigation. (S.G.)
