(07:14) MONTEREY COUNTY – A former King City police officer has been sentenced for his role in an illegal towing scheme. The 2014 incident targeted low-income drivers who could not afford to pay impound fees. Six officers were arrested in connection with the towing scheme, including Bobby Carillo, who pleaded no contest to multiple charges. Carillo has been sentenced to one year in jail and three years probation. He is the sixth and final officer to be charged for his involvement in the towing scheme. (S.G.)
