April 28, 2016: Third Suspect Found, Arrested in Watsonville Shooting Case

(10:32) WATSONVILLE – Watsonville police have arrested a third suspect in connection with a shooting that occurred earlier this month. The incident took place on April 5th, when a 24-year-old male was shot near Prospect and Lincoln streets. His injuries were non-life-threatening. In the days following the shooting, police arrested two suspects, 18-year-old Carlos Valdivia of Castroville and 20-year-old Alexis Ortiz of Las Lomas. The third suspect, 20-year-old Jacob Glen Gooden, was located and arrested at his home on Wednesday. He was booked into Santa Cruz County Jail. (S.G.)
