April 28, 2016: California Lawmakers Propose Legislation to Examine Impacts of Jet Noise

(08:39) SACRAMENTO – California lawmakers have introduced legislation that would examine the impacts of airplane noise. On Wednesday, the Quiet Skies Caucus proposed the Airplane Impacts Mitigation, or AIM, Act. The legislation, if passed, would examine how communities are affected by long-term exposure to airplane noise and emissions. The findings would then be presented to the Federal Aviation Administration to guide future decisions. (S.G.)
