(20:24) SANTA CRUZ COUNTY – The Santa Cruz County Board Of Supervisors has declared a local emergency, due to the nearly 10 million dollars worth of roadwork that needs to be done on more than 20 roads in the county. Santa Cruz was one of the counties declared a disaster area by Governor Brown, after winter rains caused flooding, fallen trees and road damage; and that means that the county could get federal money for road repairs, but it still remains to be seen how much state and federal assistance it will get. The Santa Cruz County Public Works Department has put the issue on it’s agenda for next month.
