(11:44) WATSONVILLE- The Santa Cruz Sheriff’s Office is investigating an attempted murder. The incident took place shortly before 12:30 a.m. by Larkin Valley Road and Larkin Valley Road near Watsonville, wher a 29 year old male victim was stabbed in the upper torso by an unknown assailant. The attacker then stole the victim’s car. The victim was air lifted to a trauma center in stable condition. The car has been recovered near Capitola. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Sherriff’s office.
