(17:28) TRI-COUNTY AREA – Monterey county has taken the top spot in the 2016 “state of the air” report card, from the American Lung Association. That means that Monterey county has been deemed the cleanest county in the continental U.S….for both Ozone and Particle Pollution. Salinas reported zero days of unhealthy air quality. San Benito county earned an “A” grade for Particle Pollution and Santa Cruz county got a “B” for Ozone Pollution.
