(07:28) SANTA CRUZ COUNTY – An Oakland woman has been sentenced for a fatal hit-and-run in Santa Cruz. In 2014, 31-year-old Joanna Steele hit 70-year-old Adolfo Galvan on Pacific Avenue while driving under the influence. Galvan died from his injuries 11 days later. In August, Steele pleaded no contest to felony leaving the scene of an accident and misdemeanor DUI. She was sentenced Wednesday to 3 years in state prison. (S.G.)
