February 10, 2016: New Ag Station In Salinas

(19:59) SALINAS – President Obama’s new budget provides 30 million dollars for a new agricultural research station in Salinas. Local congressman Sam Farr said the existing station doesn’t have enough lab or office space to be able to support the type of cutting-edge research necessary for local farmers who grow specialty and organic crops that compete in the global market”. Farr went on to say that he’s glad that “the president has made a new research station a priority in his budget”.
