(18:20) RIO DEL MAR – An Aptos teenager has pleaded no contest to 9 charges of vandalism that took place back in November of 2014. 18 year-old Joseph Smith now faces 8 years in prison for his part in vandalizing 16 cars with a baseball bat, and setting 3 cars on fire. Smith was 1 of 3 teenagers involved in the vandalism spree in the Rio Del Mar neighborhood along Townsend Drive. Smith is scheduled to be sentenced March 29th.
