(08:25) GREENFIELD – Two Greenfield men were arrested this week after leading law enforcement officers on a vehicle pursuit out of Salinas. Deputies attempted to pull over a car for code violations in Salinas when it fled southbound on Highway 101. The vehicle was later found heading toward Greenfield on Los Coches Road. Deputies were eventually able to stop the car with a spike strip. The vehicle was determined to have been stolen out of Greenfield. The car’s two occupants, 19-year-old Orlando Gonzales and 25-year-old Eduardo Villarreal, were booked into Monterey County Jail. (S.G.)
