(04:27) Monterey – The county of Monterey has begun repairing some of the county’s aging storm drains. Some of the storm drains are 50 to 100 years old. The work, which has begun today (Wednesday), is intended to carry on through February 2. Monterey officials, have stated while the odors are harmless some resident may be sensitive to them. Traffic delays can be expected as a result of the ongoing repairs, on Alvarado street, Franklin street and Polk street. (C.G.)
