(08:59) SAN LORENZO VALLEY – San Lorenzo Valley water officials have approved a Drought Recovery and Water Capital Surcharge. The district’s Board of Directors has passed the surcharge in an effort to compensate for the revenue lost during the drought and help fund capital improvement projects. Beginning January 1, 2016, the price of a unit of water will increase by a dollar. The average household will see an additional charge of $4 on their monthly bill. (S.G.)
