November 19, 2015: Three Arrested in San Jose for Human Trafficking

(07:37) SAN JOSE – Three people were arrested in San Jose this week on suspicion of human trafficking. Following an investigation, police executed search warrants at TapaOlé Restaurant and Utopik Salon in Saratoga. Officers apprehended 44-year-old Pedro Barea-Riva, 44-year-old Esther Narbona-Sanchez, and 47-year-old Paulino O’Farrill. All three are suspected of bringing a number of individuals into the U.S. from Spain to help them run both the salon and the restaurant. During the search, officers were able to save six victims of human trafficking and wage theft. All three suspects were booked into the Main Jail. (S.G.)
