(09:31) APTOS – Two people were arrested in Aptos this week for possession of stolen property and outstanding warrants. The Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office recently launched an investigation looking into the theft and unauthorized cashing of checks. Deputies were led to the 100 block of Sandpiper Lane where they contacted Jesse Holcomb and Sarah Johnson. Both were found in possession of stolen property. Holcomb attempted to evade officers, but was apprehended shortly after. Holcomb and Johnson were taken into custody and booked into county jail. (S.G.)
