(Updated at 08:40) – An Amber Alert issued out of Salinas Thursday morning has been cancelled. A Honda Odyssey was stolen just before 6 on the 600 block of Countryside Drive. 3-year-old Jacky Valenzuela was a passenger inside the car. The Amber Alert was issued shortly after. Police spotted and stopped the car and the girl was found safe. The incident is under investigation.

A 2002 light gold Honda Odyssey was stolen Thursday just before 6 a.m. on the 600 block of Countryside Drive. 3-year-old Jacky Valenzuela was a passenger inside the car. She is 2-foot-6, around 46 pounds, and has long black hair. She is wearing a blue shirt with a Christmas design over a red long-sleeve shirt, red pants, and no shoes. The vehicle has license plate number 5NEM296 and a broken left tail light. Anyone with information is urged to contact Salinas police.
