(UPDATE) September 24, 2015: Amber Alert Out of Salinas Cancelled, Toddler Found Safe

(Updated at 08:40) – An Amber Alert issued out of Salinas Thursday morning has been cancelled. A Honda Odyssey was stolen just before 6 on the 600 block of Countryside Drive. 3-year-old Jacky Valenzuela was a passenger inside the car. The Amber Alert was issued shortly after. Police spotted and stopped the car and the girl was found safe. The incident is under investigation.

(Updated at 07:56) – Salinas police are looking for a stolen vehicle with a toddler inside. A 2002 light gold Honda Odyssey was stolen Thursday just before 6 a.m. on the 600 block of Countryside Drive. 3-year-old Jacky Valenzuela was a passenger inside the car. She is 2-foot-6, around 46 pounds, and has long black hair. She is wearing a blue shirt with a Christmas design over a red long-sleeve shirt, red pants, and no shoes. The vehicle has license plate number 5NEM296 and a broken left tail light. Anyone with information is urged to contact Salinas police.
