September 2, 2015: Projects to Restore Watsonville’s Trails Underway

(11:17) WATSONVILLE – Work is underway on two new wetland restoration projects in Watsonville. Restoration will take place over the next two years along Struve Slough by Main Street with funding provided by the State’s Urban Greening Program and Habitat Conservation Fund. Participants will remove several acres of dry brush and invasive plants along the trails, replacing them with thousands of native plants.
