August 28, 2015: Santa Cruz and PG&E Collaborate on Street Lighting

(08:26) SANTA CRUZ – Santa Cruz officials are collaborating with PG&E to make the city’s streetlights more energy efficient. The utility will be converting nearly 1,000 streetlights to longer-lasting LED fixtures. The conversions are expected to reduce the city’s greenhouse gas emissions by 644 metric tons. PG&E will begin retrofitting the streetlights in late September. (S.G.)
