August 21, 2015: Monterey Passes Two Measures to Improve Traffic Safety

(08:00) MONTEREY – Monterey officials have approved two new measures in an effort to improve traffic safety. The city plans to use $6.5 million to add more signage, striping, and bike lanes. The funds will also be used to implement an educational bike safety program for children and teens. The goal of the measures is to accommodate all forms of transportation through every travel corridor in the city. (S.G.)
