(Updated at 09:30) – Monterey County Sheriff’s Deputies have located the girl who was taken from her home in Salinas Wednesday afternoon. 33-year-old Monique Zamora took her 3-year-old daughter Jaylene from a residence on the 19000 block of Mallory Canyon Road. Zamora does not have custody of the child. Jaylene has since been returned home. Deputies are still looking for the girl’s mother. She was last seen wearing blue overalls and a white shirt with a red heart on the front. She fled in a red Toyota 4-Runner. Anyone with information is to contact the Monterey County Sheriff’s Office.
