(07:58) SANTA CRUZ – Santa Cruz has been recognized as one of the best cities in the nation for women entrepreneurs. According to a new report released by data-science group GoodCall, Santa Cruz ranks 17th out of 405 cities, based on business climate for women, professional networking potential, and female educational values. Santa Cruz has also benefited from a large concentration of women business owners, low unemployment and high GDP growth. In the report, Santa Cruz outranked other California cities, including Palo Alto and San Mateo. (S.G.)
