(12:40) MONTEREY COUNTY – A project to remove diseased eucalyptus trees along Highway 101 begins today. Over 300 diseased trees will be removed from a four-mile section of southbound Highway 101 north of King City at Lagomarsino and Hudson Roads. Roadwork will close the southbound right lane from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday. Motorists can expect 20 minute delays. The project should be completed by the end of January, weather permitting.
