(07:26) SANTA CRUZ – UC Santa Cruz has received $1 million in funding to support a humanities project. Benefactors John Jordan and Michael Stern have given $500,000 to the university, matching additional funds from the UC Regents. The funding will be used to develop the Dickens Project in UCSC’s Humanities Division. The project is internationally recognized as a center for Dickens studies and research on 19th-century British culture. (S.G.)
