(19:02) SALINAS- A Salinas man with a history of drug use and mental illness died after being struck by a train on Wednesday. Authorities say that 27 year old Luis Bravo Betancourt was walking on the train tracks below the North Sanborn overpass when he was hit by an Amtrak Train shortly before 7:30 p.m. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Amtrak has launched an investigation into the fatality.
