The incident occurred shortly after 4 p.m. at the intersection of Memorial Drive and Verdun Avenue. Officials say 11-year-old Joshua Rodriguez was struck by a bus while riding his bicycle. The victim was transported to Hazel Hawkins Hospital and was later pronounced dead. The incident is under investigation.
