(07:56) APTOS – A man was arrested at an illegal campsite in Aptos Tuesday. Deputies and officials from the Department of Fish and Game investigated the encampment in Aptos Village Park after receiving multiple complaints. A large amount of trash was found at the campsite and campers were found urinating in the creek. Deputies contacted 56-year-old Charles Porter at the campsite. Porter was arrested for outstanding warrants, possession of drug paraphernalia, and illegal disposal of waste near a stream. He was booked into county jail. (S.G.)
