(10:55) MONTEREY COUNTY – A number of Monterey County law enforcement agencies have been collaborating over the past month to combat gang violence. Since the inception of the South Monterey County Violence Suppression Collaboration, 13 individuals have been arrested on a variety of felony charges. All suspects are gang members or associates and several were charged with participating in a criminal street gang. The collaboration plans to continue their efforts county-wide to ensure the public’s safety. (S.G.)
