(22:00) SALINAS – For the second time this month, a Don Roberto’s Jewelry Store was robbed in Salinas. The first robbery occurred on July 3 at the location on East Alisal and the second occurred today at the North Main location at around 1:35 p.m. According to Salinas Police, Two suspects entered the store and stole various amounts of jewelry. Upon entering the store, one of the suspects who was armed with a handgun forced an 8 month pregnant customer to the back of the store. They fled the scene in a white Chevrolet, which was later found abandoned by a Salinas Parole Agent. The 8 month pregnant victim was treated and released at the scene.
