(20:43) MONTEREY- The Monterey County Health Department closed MacAbee Beach yesterday (Thursday). The closure came as a precaution after a Cannery Row restaurant spilled an undetermined amount of sewage into the surrounding waters. The beach will remain closed until water samples indicate the area is safe for human contact.
