(07:32) SANTA CRUZ – Five men were arrested following a drug bust in Santa Cruz on Friday. Probation officers arrived at a business on the 1400 block of East Cliff Drive shortly before 5 p.m. A search of the business recovered over 200 grams of heroin and $14,000 in cash. The owner of the business, 35-year-old Juan Chavez-Orlandes, was apprehended on charges of possession of heroin for sale and conspiracy to distribute heroin. Officers also arrested four other men at the scene, including Jose Ponce, Jose Sanchez, Ernesto Chavez, and Inocencio Caveromaldonado. All five men were booked into county jail. (S.G.)
