(10:21) SAN LUCAS- A San Lucas man was arrested after refusing to stop for deputies. Shortly after 7 p.m. on the 4th of July. A Monterey County Sheriff’s Deputy patrolling Highway 101 noticed a suspect with an active arrest warrant and attempted a vehicle stop. The Suspect, 50 year old Martin Zuniga, ignored the patrol unit and led officers on a three mile pursuit to San Lucas. Zuniga eventually stopped in front of his residence where he became combative as he was taken into custody. He was booked into county jail for the warrant, resisting arrest and drug charges.
