(09:53) MONTEREY COUNTY – Officials in Seaside and Monterey are composing a plan to address issues at Laguna Grande Park. The park has recently been impacted by illegal activity, waste and homeless encampments. Three bodies have also been found in the park since fall. The Laguna Grande Regional Park Joint Powers Authority is seeking to address problem areas by adding more signage and increasing patrol, surveillance, and enforcement. The authority’s plan will be presented to the Seaside City Council at an upcoming meeting. (S.G.)
