(10:45) SALINAS – A cleanup and collection day will be held in Salinas this saturday. Volunteers are still needed to pick up litter, participate in graffiti abatement, and weeding. The cleanup will take place from 9 a.m. to noon. Volunteers will meet at Salinas Gas on Monterey St., the waste collection will take place on Gabian St., between Pajaro and Soledad St. , Anyone interested in participating is asked to RSVP to City Councilman Steve McShane at steve@mcshane nursery.com.
